Review | CNP Invisible Peeling Booster

CNP Invisible Peeling Booster Featured

Hello, it’s Layna here and I just want to introduce a life-changing product for me.

This is the product that improved my blackheads. I don’t want to say that it cleared them for good (I doubt blackheads disappear for good), but after using it for months, I can say it works!

What: CNP Invisible Peeling Booster

Price: S$48.90 (I bought it on sale in Guardian Singapore at S$31.75)

Weight: 100 ml

Period-After-Opening: 12 months

According to the CNP Cosmetics website:

A gentle exfoliant which requires no rinsing, the Invisible Peeling Booster effectively removes dead skin cells and boosts the efficacy of your skincare.

7 remarkable skin improvements – boost dead skin cell removal, refine skin tone, increase skin transparency, brighten skintone, long lasting hydration, regulate sebum and reduce redness.

After cleansing skin, apply before toner or as toner. No rinsing is required because there is no residue from this product.

PHA removes dead skin cells gently without irritating sensitive or acne-prone skin. Allantoin also helps to soothe the skin.

Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) complex, which includes sodium PCA, trehalose and urea, helps to hydrate the skin for a long time by maintaining moisture in the skin.

As you can see, it is a product that even sensitive or acne-prone skin types can use.

PHA is also the second generation of AHA, both acids were discovered by the same two people – Dr. Eugene Van Scott and Dr. Ruey Yu.

This article written by Ashley Weatherford from TheCut explains the difference between AHA and PHA very well. If you’d like to know more, you can visit this article.

Look & Feel

CNP Invisible Peeling Booster Product

(Excuse the blurred reflection, it’s for privacy purposes haha)

It comes in a bulky white opaque bottle with a pump on top. Yay to pumps.

Application

The product is colourless and just comes out transparent. Looks like water to be honest, but the texture is just slightly thicker than water.

Makes you feel like it’s not gonna work – though that’s not true. It also smells mildly like plastic? It should just be the ingredients, it doesn’t bother me too much.

I let it stay on my face for at least 10 minutes before moving on to toner.

The way I use twice a week in my night routine is:

CNP Invisible Peeling Booster > (Wait 10 min) > Alcohol-free toner > Serum/Essence > Moisturiser

Yes

  • Blackheads reduced by 80%
  • Slight brightening effect
  • Does not make you sensitive to sunlight
  • Good for sensitive and acne-prone skin
  • Easy to apply

No

  • A bit expensive for 100ml

Am I Repurchasing?

I think I might if I realise my blackheads come back after I’m finished with this.

It has 100 ml but if you use it just twice or thrice a week, it’s worth it for the money.

I cannot rave enough about this product to my friends because it actually works. I only started seeing differences about 1 month of use though, so be patient.

If this product doesn’t work for you, don’t be too disappointed because everyone’s skin works differently.

Overall Rating:

  1. Hello😁😘 i have question. I have experienced and suffer from this sensitive skin for over 5 years. I got cnp peeling bster in a sample as free gift for my product tht i have ordered bfore.. I got 3 samples of those but i cant use them😢 bcause i have tried one bfore n the next morning my skin turned very purging on the outer of my t-zone area. Do u think i shud recover of wht i did by just apply moisturizer bfore the peeling booster or just deny it? Im a person not typically wasting all of my products😭 but this one i dont have any idea what to do. Can u suggest a way please?

    1. Hi Crystell,

I remember replying your comment, not sure why it disappeared.

Anyway, if you do not wish to use this on your face due to the sensitivity, you can always use this on your areas where you need gentle exfoliation.
Eg. your elbows, or even your legs.

However, I have not used it on those areas before so I will not be able to vouch for its efficacy.
Hope this helped although it came a little late! 🙂
