This is kind of a coincidence that it’s Wishtrend’s Black Friday (2018) week and this product is going at 50% off. If you’re interested to know more about this before purchasing, I’ve got the review for you! 🙂
Use AFFBLACKFRIDAY for 5% off on top of the current sales – go to www.wishtrend.com* to find out what other products are on a massive sale!
I actually got 3 sample tubes (30g each) of the I’m From Mugwort Mask from Wishtrend* and I’ve been testing it out the past month.
Got it on 23 October, and it’s 21 November today. So read on!

Look & Feel
This was how the tubes came looking, one of them is in my bathroom at the moment.
It comes in a jar that looks something like this:
Image taken from Wishtrend.com.
But somehow I do like it in a tube because I just need to squeeze it on my hands without using a separate tool to take out the product.
(Lazy me is happy me)
Application
Here is the application of it on my hands. It looks like the colour will be even on your skin like the first picture on the left but once you spread it out, it’ll look like the second picture.
The last picture on the right is just to show you the bits of ground mugwort particles.
I use it this way (taken from website):
1) After cleansing, apply a thick layer of the Mugwort Mask evenly onto the face.
2) Rest for 5-10 minutes and rinse gently with water.
Wishtrend recommends you to:
3) Finish with the Mugwort Essence*. The Mugwort Mask is gentle enough and perfect for everyday use as well!
* The green beads in the Mugwort Mask are ground mugwort particles and may be different in sizes and shapes.
I find that I don’t exactly need a THICK layer of it for it to work. Even when my skin looks like the second picture shown above when I apply it all over, I still experience the cooling and soothing effects of the mask.
Btw, you can also just use this on specific areas that are inflamed or sensitive. It’s up to you!
I’m still on the first tube (30g) and it seems like I’ve got about 2 uses left? I suppose each tube can give me 7-10 uses depending on how much you use personally.
The scent of this product is a very herbal one. I’m okay with it as I drink herbal tea that my aunt makes twice a month.
I’m pretty used to these kinds of smells.
Upon application, you can feel an almost instant cooling sensation on your skin. It does help me to relax a little.
Before washing this mask off every time, I’d also lightly use the mugwort particles to ‘exfoliate’ my skin a little.
After washing it off, I do realise that my skin looks less flushed and clear?
As this mask helps in detoxifying and soothing irritated or sensitive skin, you can definitely feel like your skin has calmed down after using it.

I don’t think this helped in any brightening (which wasn’t promised) so I’m just stating it here if you’re interested.
Removing it
When you try to wash this off, it may feel a little slimy all over.
Do make sure to rinse it off till the sliminess is gone.
I recommend using this wash off mask in the shower too as it’s not that easy to wipe everything off cleanly.
Now, to wrap it up…

No
- Price is a little steep at USD 35 for 110g of product (get it while on discount!)

Am I Repurchasing?
Will I be purchasing this after I run out? There’s a possibility that I would if I can find it at a cheaper price or when it’s on discount.
It’s a great quick mask that cools down your skin and you can even use it everyday.
Morning or night, it’s your pick!
Overall Rating:
Have you tried this or heard about it? What do you do to combat redness on your skin? Any tips? I would love to know 🙂
