I was wondering if this was a product I should review but then I realised that I really really like using this each time I wash my hair so here goes my review!

Read on to find out how to use this and how I like it!

Look & Feel

This product comes in a 150 ml recyclable bottle containing recycled plastic.

It’s pretty solid and clearly shows how much product you have left.

Left is bought from Yves Rocher Singapore, right is bought from Korea’s Olive Young. Not too sure on the differences in name but online sources seem to show the Anti-Pollution one as the updated one.

The cap of it is pretty unique but I also find it easier to open the bottle while you’re showering. It shuts back tightly too, so no worries of leaking.

I also love how the bottle is in a green tint, so pretty!

Application

When poured out onto your hands, the product is colourless.

Let me give you their brief description of how they suggest you use this first:

Differences in instructions on the back.

DETOXIFIES AND RESTORES RADIANCE TO HAIR EXPOSED TO POLLUTION

Apply this vinegar with water-softening properties on hair before rinsing one last time.

It’s very weird that the bottle that I bought from Singapore during the Black Friday sale (so I got it at half price = S$9) didn’t have clearer instructions compared to the one I bought in Korea.

According to the Korean instructions on the back of the product, it states the order of usage:

I translated the instructions below.

Shampoo -> Conditioner -> Rinsing Vinegar

Use it on the last step of your hair rinsing routine.

  1. Lightly shake the bottle and pour an appropriate amount onto your scalp. (My tip: do it in sections so you get as much as you can on your scalp)
  2. Lightly massage your scalp and leave it on for about 2 minutes.
  3. Use water to thoroughly rinse it out.

This was the instructions given for the Korean one and I thought it was good to let you guys know the proper way of using it since the other version didn’t have it down specifically.

But then again, it could be that Koreans are not as well-versed in English, hence they stuck a sticker on for Koreans to understand the usage of this Rinsing Vinegar.

Anyway, since I needed to do hair masks/conditioning everytime I wash my hair due to the perm I did at The Day’s Hair in Korea (blogged), I usually remove as much water from my hair ends before masking it.

I do my hair mask for about 5 minutes each time so after applying my mask, I move on to this Rinsing Vinegar for my scalps!

They said to apply this after conditioner but since my conditioner doesn’t touch my scalp, I decided to do both at once to save the time.

I apply this in sections and start to massage it a little. (Try to be a bit generous when shaking and pouring the product on your hair, the small hole of the bottle won’t make it pour a bunch out so go wild!)

Aforementioned ‘small hole’.

Massaging your scalp helps to spread the product as well as foam up the product a little. It won’t foam much at all but you’ll notice the product feel a little soapy after massaging it.

Careful with it dripping to your eyes though, I suggest tilting your head back a little when doing it.

I then go on to brush my teeth or wash my face in that short period and 2 minutes would have been up, and my hair mask could be washed off already.

As you wash it off with slightly cold water, you can feel your scalp feeling really refreshed and the smell is amazing.

Plus, your hair at the scalp will feel super soft and smooth!

You’d expect this to be drying due to the ‘vinegar’ word, but omg girl/boy, your hair will love you for this.

They don’t state how many times a week you should use this as a deep cleanse, but I personally use this every 3 days whenever I wash my hair.

So that’s about twice a week, and the 150ml bottle I started using in August 2018 will probably be finished in about 5 more washes.

Lasts me for about 5 months and I think that’s pretty worth it!

It’s also pretty popular in Korea now as I actually bought this from a Korean YouTuber’s recommendation. So glad I did!

Yes

  • Affordable in Korea (BUT twice the price in Singapore, I don’t understand why, when this is made in France… Not Korea)
  • 150 ml in a good travel sized bottle is actually a lot, I believe they sell a bigger version too
  • Moringa Extract smells soooo damn relaxing when washing it off
  • Makes hair soft and smooth
  • No irritation
  • Not drying to your scalp
  • Most ingredients are from natural origins except for 4 synthetic ingredients

No

  • Smell doesn’t linger (or so I feel, as I can’t smell it much anymore after drying my hair)

Am I Repurchasing?

Already did! I feel like I can’t ever find a rinsing vinegar that can replace this because of how lightweight it feels while taking care of my scalp and hair.

Overall Rating:

This was my first time using a Rinsing Vinegar for my hair, have you used it before?
